BOSS DETROIT DATE ANNOUNCED

It's official. Bruce Springsteen's first tour with the E Street Band since 2003 kicks off October 2nd in Hartford, Connecticutt. The tour will hit the Detroit area on November 5th, with a show at the Palace in Auburn Hills. Tickets go on sale September 21st. As previously reported here, the group's new album, Magic, Springsteen's first with the E Streeters in five years, will be released on October 2nd. "Radio Nowhere," the first single, is available exclusively and for free on the iTunes Store for one week starting today. As in the past, the E Street Band will be comprised of Roy Bittan - keyboards; Clarence Clemons - saxophone, percussion; Danny Federici - keyboards; Nils Lofgren - guitars; Patti Scialfa - vocals, guitar; Garry Tallent - bass; Steven Van Zandt - guitars; Max Weinberg - drums.  The full tour itinerary is as follows:
