Yves Saint-Laurent doc screens in Midtown boutique this Friday

In this week's MT, we stopped by a new boutique called Détroit is the New Black to talk to owner Roslyn Karamoko (who took some time to break down her "classic meets street" style for us as well).

Karamoko emailed us to let us know that she's hosting a screening of the Yves Saint-Laurent doc L'amour Fou — and you're invited. Framed around the 2009 auction of Yves and partner Pierre Bergé's personal art collection, the movie takes a look at the private life of a public persona.

The screening starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30 at Détroit is the New Black at 52 E. Forest Ave., Detroit (located around the corner from the G.R. N'Namdi Gallery, and next to SeVa).
