The Wyandotte Street Art Fair is pretty well known around these parts. It’s one of the biggest in the area, stretching from one end of the idyllic suburb’s downtown district to the other. Fine artists, crafters, toy makers, jewelers, henna artists, ceramists, woodworkers, and a slew of other vendors set up in the city streets for this well-attended fair. There is also live entertainment on a stage near the riverfront, plus a beer tent and tons of food booths. There’s a large area for inflatables that will entertain the kiddos for hours, plus many of the district’s shops will be open with special sales. Stop in and stroll the fair for an hour or make it a full day by stopping into a few of the bars, restaurants, and shops along the way.
Fair runs Wed-Sat, July 13-16 from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. with entertainment from noon to 11 p.m.; 2624 Biddle Ave., Wyandotte; 734-324-4502; wyandottestreetartfair.org; admission is free.
