The Moth Mainstage will be at the Fillmore, in association with WDET, on Tuesday, November 12. The story theme will be “Great Escapes.”
According to the press release, “The Moth Mainstage features stories by luminaries in the arts and sciences, newsmakers and news breakers, and everyday heroes (and even a few reformed villains!). The show features five storytellers who develop and shape their stories with The Moth’s directors. Beyond a mere theatrical experience, The Moth is an ever-growing community where entertainment, enlightenment and festivity merge.”
The host will be Emmy-nominated comedy writer Brian Finkelstein, while the featured storyteller will be Richard Price, a co-writer on The Wire.
