In just under 15 minutes, this video posted by Bravura Media Company tells the story of Detroit's beginnings (including the fact that prior to being founded as Detroit in 1701, it was inhabited by three different tribes of Native Americans. THAT'S IMPORTANT, PEOPLE).
The video and concise history is interesting, but you can tell the narrator is kind of clueless about Detroit (making special note about how "cool" it is that Detroit's founder was named Cadillac).
