Parker’s wildly-eclectic take on urban soundscapes, sweet millennial soul music and a dedication to making the dancefloor go swayback from the crush of blissed-out dancers has cemented his spot in the pantheon of Detroit artist/DJ/producers without forcing him to be, well, cemented in place stylistically. The intangible spirit of Motown is alive and well, people.
