TEDxDetroit is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this September with a select panel of Detroit speakers.

TEDx — an off-shoot of the original Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED) conferences — brings speakers to the stage to engage in deep discussions on a variety of topics. And this year, TEDxDetroit will be inviting some of Detroit's most exceptional leaders, creators, and thinkers to the stage to share their ideas, inspirations, and stories of triumph.

Included in the conference programming are ESPN contributors and MSU alumnae Kelley Carter and Jemele Hill; Alina Morse, the eighth-grade Zollipops entrepreneur who turned a love for sugar-free candy into a multi-million dollar company; John Dunivant, the artistic mastermind behind Theatre Bizarre; and Cyrus Mistry, a senior product manager at Google. There are 20 presentations in total, ranging from business, technology, and even a few magic tricks.

TEDxDetroit selected speakers from more than 300 proposals submitted in consideration for the 10-year anniversary event. You can head to the TEDxDetroit website to see the full list of speakers and topics.

The event will take place on from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. Tickets start at $85 and are available for purchase at TEDxDetroit.com.
