New comedy series set in Detroit in the works

Robinson appeared in the unaired TV comedy Friend Me. Richardson, who's appeared as "Richard" in the TV series Veep, is seeing his career gain traction, including with a Detroit connection, as he'll play a minor role in Royal Oak native Paul Feig's new film, Spy.

We remember him when he was a fresh-faced aspiring actor hanging out at Seven Brothers Bar in Hamtramck a decade ago. Good work, Sam!
