You may not recognize the name Cal Garrison, but if you've ever read our weekly horoscopes, it's her words you're consuming.

Garrison's simple, easy-to-read predictions are often touted by readers as frighteningly accurate or "spot-on," and she's managed to amass a dedicated following who eagerly anticipate their weekly release.

Garrison, who also plies her income by doing personal readings and star charts for clients, doesn't just author horoscopes. She's written six books, with the seventh set to be available in bookstores on Sunday, April 1.

Garrison describes The Lunar Gospel: The Complete Guide to Your Astrological Moon as an "everyman's astrology book." She says it can be used by astrological professionals, students, and enthusiasts as a means to better understand their own lives and the lives of those around them.

In a 3-minute introduction video, Garrison says she used her 50 years of personal experience as the basis of her newest tome. Garrison began studying astrology after her father bought her The Coffee Table Guide to Astrology when she was 16 years old, and spent time learning from famed and important astrologers from around the world.

To learn more about her new book, check out the introduction video below.
