Lights out

The folks at Spencer Gifts are always good for something either really goofy, cheesy or totally impractical. The gifts-and-gags retailer now offers a remote-controlled black light for uninterrupted poster staring, meditating or just sitting around. The specially equipped black light comes with manual setting for on, off and remote, which operates within a range of up to 50 feet. Measuring close to 2 feet in length, the light is ready to mount on a wall or set on a long desk or table. It even has a glow-in-the-dark button for easier operation in black light. The price tag isn’t quite as user-friendly, however. It sells for about $50 at www.spencergifts.com.
