, so if you've been feeling down/angry/sad/insert other negative emotions lately, here's a chance to practice a bit of self-care, courtesy of man's best friends.

On Tuesday, July 12, On the Plaza — a 17 week series on the riverfront, sponsored by GMRENCEN — is hosting its Pet Day, and local doggy daycare Canine to Five is bringing dogs for visitors to pet, take on walks, and dance with from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Since June, the series has offered the chance for people to come down and enjoy a quick bite to eat, listen to music, shop local vendors, and enjoy everything the RiverWalk has to offer.

At Pet Day, pet owners can also score some goodies from local vendor 3Dogs 1Cat, and food trucks Mito's Turkish Doner and Streetside Sushi will be on hand.
