We've covered the Art Lab J before, the Eastern Market dance company founded by Joori Jung that offers classes, showcases, and workshops. They'll kick off their 2015 performance season with Berg Fleur Night, a two-day fundraising gala on May 1 and 2.
The Friday, May 1 event will feature a dinner provided by local pop-up chefs Jesse Knott and Lindsay Salminen, dessert by Kasi Cakes, and a silent auction full of Michigan-made artwork and products. The event starts at 6 p.m. — tickets are $75 each and can be purchased at artlabj.com.
The Saturday, May 2 event features the world premiere of “No Right Answer,” with performances scheduled at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. “No Right Answer” is choreographed and produced by Jung, and features dancers Sam Horning, Kara Brody, Shauna Cook, Adriel Ruben, Julia Fowler, and Britney Birr. Tickets are $25 each, with student tickets available at $15.00 a person (use online code: student $10) and can be purchased at artlabj.com.

This performance is in preparation for the company’s performances in South Korea for the New Dance for Asia International Festival and Poland in summer 2016.
