Don't miss this weekend's Babe Ruth party

But there can only be one Babe Ruth Birthday Party, the one started by Navin Field Grounds Crew honcho Tom Derry back in 1988. Corktown sports bar Nemo's will be taken over by fans of the Sultan of Swat, who would be turning the almost impossibly old age of 122 that night. The fun starts at 7:14 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, and runs until closing time at Nemo's Bar, 1384 Michigan Ave., Detroit; baberuthbirthdayparty.com.
