Detroit City Football Club's season starts one month from today

Friends, the weather is warming. All the snow has melted. Each day the sunshine lasts longer. Spring begins on Friday. Easter is in two and a half weeks. And one month from today Detroit City Football Club will play its first game of the year. 

The National Premier League team will don their rouge and gold against the Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals for a pre-season scrimmage. The game starts at 1 p.m. at Hurley Field in Berkley. Tickets are $5.The first official game of the season takes place nearly a month later on May 15 against AFC Cleveland at Cass Tech High School.
