Contest: design the cover of Metro Times' College Guide!

Yup, you read that right. 

Each year, Metro Times publishes an issue devoted to all things collegiate, and we're looking for a student to create a one-of-a-kind cover. 

What are we looking for? Photos, illustrations, or anything else that would look good on the cover as long as it has something to do with college — bonus points if includes Detroit. 

Entries will be evaluated by Metro Times editorial and design staff, and the winner will receive a cash prize of $150, as well as see their work on the more than 40,000 copies of MT distributed all over metro Detroit. 

Requirements: 
Entrants must be a current student at a Michigan university or college.
Entries must not be published anywhere else.

Entries must be received by noon on Wednesday, Aug. 17.

Bleed: 11.5 x 14 inches (w x h)
Trim size: 10 x 12.75
Safe zone / Live area: 9.25 x 12

Illustrations and photographs should be submitted as .JPGs or PDFs. If your design is selected for the cover, Metro Times will contact you for a high resolution file or layered file.
