This taxidermied animal is not available for purchase at Fleatroit Junkcity's Holiday Market but it's weird and you should look at it.
One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Not everyone wants to put cash in the hands of retail monster Amazon, and, let’s be real, shopping malls have become unnervingly depressing. So for the rest of us, there’s
Fleatroit Junkcity’s 3rd Annual Holiday Market. Turn and face the strange with the cornucopia of weird-ass wares unearthed from the attics and basements of some of Detroit’s most gifted collectors, hoarders, vintage freaks, and occult cuties. Vintage clothing? Check. Creepy cool ceramics? Sure. Taxidermy? Probably. There will be pasties, soup, spiked hot chocolate, naughty eggnog for purchase, and sounds provided by DJ Eric Allen.
Fleatroit Junkcity 3rd Annual Holiday Market begins at noon on Sunday, Dec. 16 at Outer Limits Lounge; 5507 Caniff St., Detroit; 313-368-8192; outerlimitslounge.com; Event is free.
