All systems go for the 41st Dally in the Alley festival

Sep 5, 2018 at 8:43 am

If you love people, art, music, and a steady flow of beer, Dally in the Ally returns for its 41st year as Detroit’s largest annual community festival.

Tradition is the mission with the 12-hour festival, which is made possible by a team of community volunteers and a slew of local talent and artisans. To help soak up all the boozy goodness, food favorites Amicci’s, Nosh Pit, and People’s Pierogi Collective — to name a few — will be on deck. More than 30 musical acts will take the stage — now with an improved sound system — including Saajtak at 1 p.m., Girl Fight at 2:15 p.m., Kimball at 4 p.m., Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor at 5:15 p.m., Liquid Monk 6 p.m., Alexyn Wundrland at 8:15 p.m., and Mexican Knives at 9:15 p.m., among plenty of others.
