If Janel Stone looks familiar to you, we wouldn't be surprised. The Detroit-based businesswoman has had her hand in a few of our biggest local musical acts. In fact, way back when, she picked Kaleido's Christina Chriss out of a Westland bar and knew the blonde beauty had star potential. Now Stone is the owner of 7 Stone Management, an entertainment, marketing, and modeling agency. She's been in the biz for 22 years and refers to herself as a female power promoter. She manages Nu-Motown group the Infatuations and has plenty more on her plate too.
When we spotted the stylish Stone she'd just dashed out of a meeting and was on her way to pick up her two sons from day care. Poised and put together, you'd never know her personal life is just as full as her day job. Honestly, we're not sure how this woman does it.
