The Salt Miners create inherently American music. This is the sound of five individuals who are a part of all they have encountered. Be it bluegrass, punk, folk, rock and roll, or the blues, all of these facets of the American soundscape played a role in creating their unique sound. The Salt Miners are real people making real music about things that really matter: life, death, love, hate, joy, remorse. No frills, no hype, this is music laid bare. You can wallow in the darkness, or revel in the stomp, but the latter is recommended. For them, the title of their first release says it best: The Salt Miners truly are "a good time to be had." The Salt Miners are: Johnny Miller (Bass Fiddle), Tim Pak (Banjo, Dobro, Harmonica), Mark Paul(Mandolin), Brian McCarty(Guitar), Dan Tennant (Banjo, Accordion, Zukie), Everyone Sings.
