About Annie Capps

"Annie Capps and husband/partner Rod Capps have been making music together and on their own for more than 20 years. With influences as diverse as Ani DiFranco and Frank Zappa, as rockin' as Led Zeppelin and Heart, and as 'poppy' as Jewel and Sheryl Crow, their own music tends to dance across genre lines. For now, it settles neatly into the 'modern, folk, rock' category – whatever that means. Since 1995, they've been working steadily with their cover band Foolish Mortals, they formed their alter-ego Roxanne in 1998, recorded their first album in 1999 and have just released their second album titled The Wrong Shoes under the name 'Annie Capps.'"
