Rampent Electicism threads and weaves its way through the fabric of this modern masterpiece. Just check out the tight harmonies and searing guitar of "Villain."
There's also the driving groove of the title track, "In-Exile." "Boogie Man" features haunting vocals by lead singer, Eric Z, supported by a punchy, relentless beat.
Aside from Z's charasmatic performances, Braillehouse spotlights the trailblazing guitar work of Djeto Juncaj, the bigger-than-life drums of Jesse Dansby, and the well-placed volac harmonies and tasty bass of Chris Masek.
Braillehouse's greatest strengths lie in their songwriting and ability to combine passion, dynamics, drama, artistic vision, intensity and individual style into a unified whole that is neither tiresome nor overly cliched.
