“My White Mama” is a root-down, three-piece rock ‘n’ roll band with a simple recipe. Play music that will not lose you, but create a solid groove that will move you. Mama's high-energized shows change at every venue. Guitarist-Scott scat vocals have been compared to Tom Waits & Howlin’ Wolf. Once a blind man described him as being possessed. Drummer Mark and Justin on bass hold the band together and set a solid rhythm section, and have been compared to Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and The Meters. “My White Mama” has established a unique sound that is all its own.
