About John Briggs
"Producer/songwriter and native Detroiter John Briggs is known for his unique style of music. With his former band Marooned, John was able to explore possibilities experimenting with complex ethnic rhythms, manipulations and distortion as well as meshing musical genres. In that spirit, John continues to release a plethora of music, production work, remixes, etc. His music encompass the beauty of space, silence and noise. It's then is translated to a palatable conglomeration of sound infused with America's true and continuous 'alternative music,' jazz."
