About Anthony "Shake" Shakir

"Born and raised in Detroit, Anthony began DJing in high school and has been active in the Detroit music scene since the early '80s. He was one of the featured artists on Techno: The New Dance Sound of Detroit, the 1988 U.K. compilation that helped launch Detroit techno in Europe. ...
