
"Sean M. Deason Techno Producer/D.J. ... Alias: Freq, X-313, S.I.N., Code 3, Project X, Psykofuk ... Sean Deason is part of the 'third generation' of techno producers from Detroit. He began his career as a graphic designer with the intention of specializing in graphics for the music industry. His clients included Carl Craig, A Guy Called Gerald, Def Jam Records, and One Records, among others. His music career began when he met Dan Bell (who helped him establish an industry newsletter, 'Matrix'), Kenny Larkin, and Richie Hawtin, who introduced him to the recording studio and helped with his developing music skills. He went on to produce records for Acacia and Generator Records before establishing Matrix Records, his own label, in late 1993. Sean's Matrix label has gained worldwide recognition in an extremely competitive global techno market. He recently began focusing on his DJ skills, and DJed at various clubs and parties in the metro Detroit area before expanding his experience to include the rest of the United States and various parts of the world."
