"Formed to represent the psych/pop side of the exploding Detroit garage scene, The Alphabet weaves a tender trap both live and in stereo. Twin guitars, one keyed instrument and a trusty modern rhythm section supplement the harmolodic vocal stylings of the group. Songs about the end of the world and lost love never sounded so good. The recordings are a lo-fi wall of sound that conjures images of Phil Spector recording the Seeds in a dank Michigan basement. The live shows are different every time... in a good way, but always are wild, man, wild.
