Timmy’s Organism, Danny and the Darleans, and more

Detroit’s beloved mad man Timmy Lampinen has had an illustrious career with Epileptix, Clone Defects, Human Eye, and Timmy’s Organism. This show celebrates the release of not one, but two new records: Lick It Up and Revolution Eyes. Lampinen is that rare breed, as all his artistic output is as awesome as it is prolific. Nobody treads the waters of tasty, glammed-up, postpunk space-rock with anything like the skillful appearance of not giving a fuck that Timmy possesses. If this were France, he’d have his own TV channel, but everyone would pretend to hate him. Since it’s not France, Timmy has all the right friends and more love than you can imagine, and some of them are playing this show (Danny and the Darleans, Deadly Vipers, The Beauticians, and DJ Twin Spin).
