The Exchange Flea Market and Street Fair

If you haven’t been to this new monthly flea market (which is also a street fair and block party, right in the Eastern Market district), this is your last chance this year. You’re invited to check out the wares of more than 20 local makers of stuff, hang out on the lawn, and watch Detroit Circus or live music by John’s Carpet House and Big Pete’s Place, Markita Moore, Bev Love, Caveman Woodman, and DJ Walker. Three food trucks will be on hand, while a full bar will donate its proceeds to a nonprofit called Street Democracy, which provides legal services to the impoverished and homeless.
