Never Alone in Detroit

Premier showing of an original film depicting the stories of African American women raising young men alone in the City of Detroit. The film highlights 20 interviews to show the strength and support of young women as they face the challenges of the urban environment and keeping their sons safe and educated to achieve their dreams. Funded by the Michigan Humanities Council.
