Oakland County gourmands can now enjoy the fine Northern Italian dining experience made famous by the original Mario’s in downtown Detroit. The extensive menu features traditional Italian pasta dishes such as homemade ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo; the chef also prepares many more selections featuring chicken, veal, beef, lamb and seafood. For a special treat, try the one of the house specialties prepared tableside: Tournedos Maison is made with medallions of prime beef tenderloin, flamed with cognac and simmered in cream, Madeira and tomato sauce. Dinners include antipasto, minestrone soup and salad. Desserts include fresh fruit and cherries jubilee prepared by your server. There are also specialty coffees to complement the extensive wine list and a variety of select cognacs. Live music and dancing Thursday through Saturday nights.
