Ken Ludwig's "Lend Me a Tenor"

The Clarkston Village Players opens their 2016-17 season with Ken Ludwig’s “Lend Me a Tenor”. When the famous tenor Tito Merelli comes to perform at the Cleveland Opera Company, he is accidentally given a double dose of tranquilizers and passes out. Thinking him dead, the General Manager's assistant (and future son-in-law) steps in to perform Otello for him, not knowing that the original Otello has awoken, resulting in mistaken identities, romantic shenanigans and great comic farce. Winner of 3 Tony and 4 Drama Desk awards. "Uproarious! Hysterical!" - USA Today.
