Hugh Masekela and Larry Willis: Friends

Two giants of the jazz world on one stage. Masekela and Willis met as students at the Manhattan School of Music some 50 years ago, and have been friends ever since. Masekela is a world-renowed trumpeter, flugelhornist, composer, singer, bandleader, and defiant political voice. Willis has performed or recorded with almost every great jazz musician of the modern era, including Dizzy Gillespie, Lee Morgan, Woody Shaw, and more.
