This year's Midwest Media Expo was unexpectedly cancelled just days before the convention was to take place. While organizers are bummed (and expo-goers are even more bummed) they maintain this was completely out of their control.
But, in order to make it up to fans and attendees, they've scrambled to put together an event that will still feature some of the promised celebrity guests such as Jon St. John and David Eddings. There will also be panels, discussions, cosplay photo opportunities and more.
Day time programming will be free to all attendees. Day and night time programming will be free to anyone who pre-registered for Midwest Media Expo. There will be a small fee for nighttime programming, which will include a concert and dance, to those who did not pre-register for Midwest Media Expo.
