When: Sundays, 3 p.m. and Thursdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m. Continues through Feb. 26 2017
The Theatre Company of University of Detroit Mercy’s 46th season continues with William Inge’s Bus Stop, running Feb. 9-26, at the Marlene Boll Theatre at the downtown Detroit YMCA.
Bus Stop follows a bus full of strangers who find themselves stranded at a roadside dinner in Kansas City in the middle of a howling snowstorm. All roads are blocked, and these weary travelers are forced to mingle and wait out the storm. As the evening progresses and personalities start to emerge, the relationships formed by total strangers turns into an uproarious romantic comedy that never strays far from the truth.
