An Evening with Piper Laurie

Oscar-nominated Detroiter Piper Laurie will come home to present stories from her 2011 memoir Learning to Live Out Loud to benefit the Detroit Film Theatre. Laurie, who started out in show biz in the 1950s, made a name for herself in The Hustler as Paul Newman’s girlfriend, and went on to garner even more success and acclaim for roles in Carrie and the cult TV classic, Twin Peaks.
