SCHEDULE
The 2005 Blowout Schedule will be released to the public on Wednesday, February 16th.

MEDIA COVERAGE
Aside from the six weeks of ads in Metro Times, Blowout will have spots on WRIF, 89X, Channel 955, WDET, WJLB and FOX2. Each radio station will be pushing the event two weeks out and FOX2 will once again present a "Week of Blowout" with live performances by featured bands during their morning shows.

WRISTBANDS
Every single human being attending the Blowout must have a wristband around his or her wrist to gain access to a venue. No exceptions to the rule. If anyone loses or misplaces their wristband, they will NOT be given another one.

MUSICIANS CAN PICK UP THEIR WRISTBANDS AT THE PRE-PARTY ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2 AT THE MAJESTIC THEATRE BEGINNING AT 8PM. If a representative of your band cannot attend the pre-party, then your group's wristbands will be waiting for you at your assigned venue beginning on Thursday, March 2nd. The pre-party is free for all participating Blowout musicians.

ARRIVAL TIME & LOAD-IN
Load in at all venues is at 6pm. Doors open at 8pm and venues will begin to fill up early so please try and have all of your gear loaded in early.

GUEST LIST
There is no guest list.

REFRESHMENTS
Each band/peformer will be provided with complimentary refreshments on the night of their performance at their assigned venue. It is between the performers and their venue as to what these refreshments will be, quantity, drink tickets, etc.

SOUND
All musicians are expected to bring their own gear; this includes DAT machines, turntables, etc. A basic PA package with mic stands will be provided. There are no backlines. Due to the number of acts performing there is no sound check.

LENGTH OF SETS
Sets are 35-40 minutes. Stage managers have been instructed to keep the show moving. Please start your sets promptly and be courteous of the bands/musicians following your performance.
