Several downtown Detroit companies challenge property assessments; over $4 million in revenue at stake

The Detroit Downtown Development Authority (DDA) could lose over $4 million in annual revenue if property assessment appeals by several companies are approved by the Michigan Tax Tribunal.  Some of Detroit's corporate residents have contested at least $50 million in assessed values of downtown properties, according to tribunal records...
