Women busted for stealing $800 worth of lingerie from Somerset Mall

Two women hailing from Akron, Ohio were arrested last weekend after allegedly stealing $800 worth of lingerie from Victoria's Secret at Somerset Mall.

WXYZ reports that a 20-year-old woman and a 29-year-old woman had removed the security sensors from dozens of undergarments and stuffed them into booster bags, before making their getaway.

Police caught up with them a short while later and discovered over $8000 worth of additional stolen goods in their vehicle.

"I do not know if they have criminal histories, but I can say that they are retail fraud individuals that specialize in certain stores," Sgt. Meghan Lehman told WXYZ.

The two women are currently out on bond, but face a whole slew of charges.
