Abandon one of your senses at least for a moment to put your taste buds to work during the "Dining in the Dark Detroit" dinner at Great Lakes Culinary Center Sept. 10. During this special event, guests will be blindfolded for three hours while they indulge in a four-course dinner presented by Chef Reva Constantine of the Great Lakes Culinary Center in Southfield. While seated in a candlelit room, diners will have to rely on their other senses of smell, touch and sound to take in the gourmet meal.

The prix fixe experience will include four courses and a handcrafted welcome cocktail. Cost is $60, excluding additional beverages and gratuity. Cash bar will be provided by Tito’s Handmade Vodka after the experience and guests will get to meet the chef. More information at www.diningdarkdetroit.com
